Huawei Introduces MiniFTTO Products at MWC Barcelona 2026

Huawei eKit has launched a new range of MiniFTTO products at MWC Barcelona 2026. The products aim to enhance the network experience through three innovative solutions: StreamerKit, GS-PON optical gateway, and a 3-in-1 optical AP. These offerings focus on user experience, deployment simplicity, and intelligent operations and maintenance.

Leonard Liu, Huawei's President of Commercial & Distribution Solution, emphasized the importance of addressing deployment costs and the growing need for bandwidth in business scenarios. The new products are designed to meet these demands while providing cost-effective solutions for SMEs, facilitating their transition to an intelligent world.

The GS-PON optical gateway and StreamerKit aim to alleviate the upstream bottleneck, offering symmetric 2.5G PON technology with 2.5 Gbit/s bandwidth. These products cater to live streaming, video conferencing, and future applications like 8K and VR/AR. Additionally, the StreamerKit features an AI roaming algorithm to maintain seamless connectivity.

For hotels, Huawei's 3-in-1 optical AP F601D supports multiple services over a single fiber, reducing network costs by approximately 30% and improving deployment efficiency. Huawei plans to continue partnering with enterprises to foster SME innovation.
