Huawei Unveils AI-Driven Green Tech at MWC Barcelona 2026
During the MWC Barcelona 2026, Huawei Digital Power's Vice President, Bob He, introduced innovative solutions: the New-Generation AI-Powered Green Site and GW-Level AIDC Solutions. These advancements aim to support operators in developing zero-carbon networks, marking a significant step in the intelligent, low-carbon transition.
The AI-Powered Green Site enhances network resilience and cuts operational energy expenses. In Kuwait, backup time has doubled, boosting site power availability to 99.9%. In Southern Africa, fuel consumption plummeted by 75%, saving $10,000 and reducing carbon emissions by 18 tons per site annually. Additionally, operators can now leverage energy storage for revenue generation, as seen in Northern Europe, where annual revenue rose by over €2000 per site.
The GW-Level AIDC Solution addresses rising demands for computing power with innovations in power supply, cooling, energy storage, and operations. This solution ensures energy-efficient and reliable AIDC facilities, supporting the AI era with predictively maintained, energy-optimized data centers.
