HRS Signs Preliminary Sale-and-Leaseback Agreement with Azur Datacenter
Grenoble, 10 August 2026 – HRS, a leader in hydrogen refueling stations, has signed a preliminary sale-and-leaseback agreement with Azur Datacenter for its headquarters in Champagnier, France. The transaction, valued between €22 million and €25 million, will allow HRS to maintain operations at the site through a long-term lease.
This deal aims to strengthen HRS's financial standing and expedite diversification into filling centers and Secure Power Units. Azur will invest €360 million and create 100 jobs locally. Discussions are ongoing to form a strategic partnership combining their expertise for energy-efficient data center solutions.
HRS aims to pivot to new markets, leveraging its experience in hydrogen-powered systems and industrial activities, while Azur focuses on innovation and value creation.
