Hyundai Mobis Forms Global Alliance for Next-Generation Display Technologies
Hyundai Mobis has announced the formation of the "Quad Alliance" with leading European companies to revolutionize vehicle display technologies. The alliance focuses on the Holographic Windshield Display (HWD), which transforms the vehicle's front windshield into a display, offering separate views for drivers and passengers to enhance safety and convenience.
The collaboration includes Germany's ZEISS for optical technology, tesa for film adhesion, and France's Saint-Gobain Sekurit for automotive glass. Mass production is anticipated by 2029. The HWD leverages a Holographic Optical Element (HOE) film with high clarity and brightness, enabling drivers to access key information without distraction.
This alliance aims to provide a 'one-stop supply chain solution' from optical design to system assembly, showcasing Hyundai Mobis' commitment to advancing vehicle interfaces. The company continues to demonstrate its competitive edge by featuring advanced models at major global exhibitions.
