IBU-tec Experiences Significant EBITDA Growth Amid Battery Segment Surge
During the first half of 2025, IBU-tec advanced materials AG reported a notable rise in EBITDA from EUR 0.2 million to EUR 2 million, resulting in a significant margin increase from 0.6% to 10.4%. Despite a drop in revenues to EUR 19 million compared to EUR 24.8 million the previous year, the company achieved crucial operational milestones, particularly in the battery sector.
Key partnerships, including those with PowerCo and Wanhua Chemical Group, spearheaded IBU-tec's advancements. The momentum continues, with a major order from VW subsidiary PowerCo worth EUR 6 million, enhancing financial year revenues.
IBU-tec reinforced its annual forecast, projecting an EBITDA margin of 7-9% and revenues between EUR 43-45 million. The battery segment is expected to contribute significantly, accounting for about 25% of the total annual revenue.
