Implenia Secures Major Infrastructure Contracts in Europe
Implenia AG has recently been awarded contracts worth approximately EUR 350 million for infrastructure projects in Germany and Norway. These projects involve the construction of three bridges and one tunnel, aimed at enhancing transportation connectivity and infrastructure quality in these regions.
Among the awarded projects is the Peene bridge in Wolgast, Germany, part of a joint venture by Implenia to connect Usedom island with the mainland. Another significant project is the replacement of the Marktbreit bridge over the Main river, Germany, a critical link in the A7 motorway corridor.
In Norway, Implenia will construct the Lågen bridge, a vital segment of the E6 motorway. These contracts solidify Implenia's strategic focus on large-scale infrastructure projects responding to rising transport demand and bridge renovation needs in Europe.
