Implenia equips a data center in Switzerland
On November 4, 2026, Implenia was selected by a global supplier to provide the technical equipment for a data center in Switzerland. The contract is worth hundreds of millions of Swiss francs. The company had already completed the structural work for this infrastructure. This project represents a key step in Implenia's strategy to strengthen its expertise in the data center sector.
Implenia is handling the MEP infrastructure for the center, which covers 33,000 m². This includes power supply, cooling, fire protection, and ancillary facilities. A high-performance cooling system and redundant power supply are planned. In addition, a photovoltaic system and a district heating system will be integrated. Construction is underway, with completion scheduled for 2028.
