Inauguration of the "Future Minerals Pioneers" Bootcamp in Riyadh

The "Future Minerals Pioneers" bootcamp, part of the Global Minerals Innovation Competition, was inaugurated in Riyadh under the patronage of the Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources. Led by Vice-Minister Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, this event is organized by the Ministry in collaboration with the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program.

The bootcamp takes place from January 8 to January 10, 2026, welcoming 356 participants from 32 countries. Selected from 1,812 applicants, these participants represent diverse global talent, with Saudis accounting for 68% of the cohort.

This initiative focuses on smart technologies, safety, and sustainability in mining. Key partners such as Ma'aden and ESNAD, alongside local and international experts, contribute to this collaborative effort. Winners will be announced at the Future Minerals Forum on January 14, 2026.
