Infotel Q1 2025 Revenue Declines Slightly by 4.6%
Infotel reported a 4.6% decline in revenue for Q1 2025, totaling €75.4 million. This decrease is attributed to a challenging economic environment and the impact of one fewer working day, contributing -1.4% to the decline. Service revenues dropped 5% to €72 million, mainly due to reduced IT investments from major clients like Stellantis and Airbus. However, some positive activity was noted in North America.
The Banking sector showed a modest recovery with a 5% growth, while Insurance increased by 4.7%, helped by strong sales momentum. Infotel's Software segment performed well, with a 5.9% rise in revenue to €3.4 million, bolstered by a 9% increase in IBM royalties.
Looking ahead, Infotel expects growth in the second half of 2025, driven by advancements in Banking and Insurance sectors and easing budget constraints in Industry. A proposed dividend of €2 per share for 2024 is to be discussed at the upcoming General Shareholders' Meeting.
