Intrasense and Guerbet Secure PMDA Certification in Japan for DUOnco™ Pancreas

Montpellier, Villepinte, June 8th 2026 - Intrasense, a French AI medical imaging specialist, and Guerbet, a global leader in medical imaging, announce PMDA certification for DUOnco™ Pancreas in Japan. This AI software is the first of its kind in Japan, assisting in reading pancreatic areas on CT scans.

With pancreatic cancer being a major health challenge in Japan, early detection is crucial. Studies indicate that CT findings of pancreatic cancer can appear up to 36 months before diagnosis. DUOnco™ Pancreas aims to enhance radiologists' ability to detect these early signs by highlighting regions of interest in the pancreas during contrast-enhanced CT exams.

This certification marks a significant step in the international expansion of DUOnco™ Pancreas, complementing its CE mark in Europe and Breakthrough Device designation by the FDA.
