Inventiva to Present Abstracts at 2026 Liver Meeting

Inventiva, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, will showcase three scientific abstracts at the AASLD The Liver Meeting® 2026. This event, scheduled for November 5-9 in Denver, will see shared insights on the activity of lanifibranor, a drug being evaluated for the treatment of MASH. Preclinical data suggested that lanifibranor's balanced activation of PPARα, PPARδ, and PPARγ impacts fibrosis pathways in multiple hepatic cell populations.

Phase 2b clinical results indicated improvements in liver sinusoidal endothelial cell changes and intrahepatic vascular abnormalities. Additionally, analysis of plasma cell-free DNA highlighted coordinated epigenetic shifts across PPAR isoforms in MASLD patients, supporting a multi-PPAR targeting strategy. Lanifibranor is currently in Phase 3 NATiV3 trials, with results expected by year-end.
