Irving Resources Commences 2026 Drill Program at Omu Project

Irving Resources Inc. has initiated its 2026 drill program at the Omu gold-silver project in Hokkaido, Japan. The program aims to explore shallow silica-rich mineralization at the Nanko target and in the JX/Irving collaboration area within the Omui mining license. The company is utilizing diamond drill rigs to test these zones, with a focus on expanding the known footprint of mineralized areas.

Recent drilling at Nanko has revealed extensive shallow silicified volcanic rocks and hydrothermal breccias. Prior drilling results from five years ago indicated significant gold and silver values. At Omu Sinter, drilling continues to expand the shallow silica sinter deposit, which is part of an option agreement with JX Advanced Metals Corporation. Moreover, plans are in place to test deeper high-grade feeder zones, pending permit approval.

Irving Resources anticipates that the aggressive exploration will outline the potential of these areas, with the possibility of creating a valuable resource for the smelting industry in Japan.
