Irving Resources Uncovers Significant High-Grade Feeder at Omu Sinter
Irving Resources Inc. announced promising assay results from its Omu Sinter gold-silver project in Hokkaido, Japan. A new discovery has been made, revealing feeder-style mineralization through diamond drill hole 26OMS-002. This 53m vertical hole intercepted 0.98 gpt gold and 68.96 gpt silver (2.06 gpt AuEq) over 47.7m from the top of bedrock. A standout subinterval within this zone demonstrates grades of 10.68 gpt gold and 187.81 gpt silver over 1.05m.
This marks the first detection of high-grade mineralization at Omu Sinter's shallow geological levels, warranting additional exploration. The company is filing applications for an accelerated drill program following this discovery. Another drill hole, 26OMS-001, also showed promising results, further supporting the potential of Omu Sinter.
Dr. Quinton Hennigh, technical advisor at Irving, emphasizes the potential for discovering a significant deposit at greater depths. This discovery enhances prospects for the project's expansion and development.
