Jacques Bogart Faces Challenging 2025 amid Restructuring and Economic Pressures
In 2025, Jacques Bogart reported a revenue decline of 8.5%, totaling €264.1 million. The deteriorating economic landscape and unfavorable exchange rates were significant contributors. Despite these challenges, EBITDA remained positive at €27 million. As part of a strategic shift, the company closed 30 unprofitable stores in Europe in its quest for operational agility.
Bogart's net income plunged to a €22.6 million loss. Operating income also saw a downturn, moving to a negative €10.1 million, influenced by significant depreciation and restructuring costs. Personnel expenses fell by 3.7%, as the workforce decreased by 10%.
Looking ahead, the company continues its drive for efficiency. In 2026, Bogart anticipates revenue growth, especially in Fragrances & Cosmetics, despite a volatile Middle Eastern market influenced by regional tensions.
