Jaguar Mining Identifies New Gold District in Brazil
Jaguar Mining Inc. announces promising drilling results from the Paciencia Gold District in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The exploration revealed a significant gold system connecting multiple targets, including Chamé, Santa Isabel, Marzagão, and Bahú over a 15 km length. The company's drilling included 17 holes totaling 3,764 meters, with noteworthy intercepts illustrating both low and high-grade mineralization potential.
The results suggest an extensive gold trend, with notable example intercepts such as 32.21 meters at 0.37 g/t Au and 7.85 meters at 2.03 g/t Au. The continuity of mineralized structures demonstrates the district's potential to be a significant exploration area.
Armando José Massucatto, General Manager of Exploration, emphasized the success in confirming structural continuity, aligning with Jaguar's strategic goals to explore high-priority targets. These findings align with the historical data and indicate the presence of parallel and stacked structures, enhancing the potential for broad mineralization.
