Jeffinho's transfer to Botafogo confirmed
On December 31, 2024, Olympique Lyonnais made official the definitive transfer of Brazilian striker Jeffinho to the Carioca club Botafogo. The amount of the transaction is 5.3 million euros, with a future interest of 30% on a potential resale.
Arriving at Lyon in January 2023, Jeffinho appeared in 21 matches before being loaned to Botafogo in December 2023. During his loan spell, he distinguished himself with five decisive exploits in 18 matches, playing a key role in Botafogo's Championship - Copa Libertadores double.
Olympique Lyonnais wishes Jeffinho the best for his future career. The transfer underlines the relationships within the Eagle Football group.
