Julien Thomas becomes Managing Director of SMTPC
The Board of Directors of the Société Marseillaise du Tunnel Prado Carénage (SMTPC) has announced the appointment of Julien Thomas as Chief Executive Officer, effective June 2, 2025. This decision follows the departure of Jérôme Havard, who is seeking a new professional opportunity.
SMTPC is responsible for operating a 2.5 km toll tunnel in Marseille, connecting the A50 motorway to the east and the A55 motorway to the north. The company is expected to transfer the tunnel to the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolitan Area in January 2033. It also manages the Prado Sud tunnel, providing a link to the city's southern districts.
Julien Thomas will bring his expertise to lead SMTPC, whose shares are listed on Euronext Growth Paris. His leadership will be crucial for the maintenance and security of the infrastructure managed by the company.
