Julius Baer Group Announces Changes to Board of Directors
Julius Baer Group Ltd. has announced significant changes to its Board of Directors. Richard Campbell-Breeden will step down as Vice Chairman and not seek re-election at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Juerg Hunziker is set to succeed him, pending shareholder approval. Hunziker brings 40 years of experience in technology and financial services, both internationally and in Switzerland.
Additionally, Urban Angehrn will join the Board as an independent non-executive Director, also subject to shareholder approval. Angehrn, who has extensive experience in financial services and previously served as CEO of FINMA, is expected to augment the Board's oversight capabilities with his vast understanding of global financial markets and corporate governance.
Further details regarding the Board and committee compositions will be shared in the AGM circular to be released in March.
