Julius Baer Initiates CHF 600 Million Share Buy-Back
Julius Baer Group Ltd. has unveiled a new share buy-back program worth up to CHF 600 million, following regulatory approval. The initiative is backed by the Group's strong capital position, as stated in their announcement from Zurich on 2 October 2026. The buy-back is anticipated to commence in the upcoming weeks, with completion expected within a year, depending on market conditions. This will be executed through a second trading line on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
The company also revised its capital distribution policy, intending to maintain a dividend payout between 40% and 60% of IFRS net profit attributable to shareholders. A progressive dividend per share is aimed for, barring exceptional circumstances. The target is to retain a CET1 capital ratio of 15%.
