Kai Tak Sports Park Marks First Anniversary with Impressive Milestones
The Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong celebrated its first anniversary on March 1 with notable achievements. In its inaugural year, the park hosted around 50 major events and over 120 days of sports and entertainment. Its facilities, including the Kai Tak Stadium and Arena, have seen substantial usage, nearing 90% utilization rates.
Kai Tak Stadium attracted more than 1.8 million attendees, ranking third globally and first in Asia for total ticket sales in 2025, according to Pollstar. The stadium and arena collectively underscore the park's growing influence on Hong Kong’s sports and tourism sectors.
A spokesperson highlighted the park’s role in unifying the community and enhancing Hong Kong’s international connections. With an expanding event lineup and enhanced visitor experiences, Kai Tak Sports Park is set to further integrate culture, sports, and tourism.
