Kaleon acquires a majority stake in a water taxi operator

Kaleon SpA recently acquired 80% of Navigazione Isole Borromee Lago Maggiore, a water taxi operator, to strengthen its tourism offerings on Lake Maggiore. With this acquisition, Kaleon adds five boats and five licenses to its fleet, further solidifying its position in the tourism services market. The company retains an option to purchase the remaining 20%, allowing for a potential full acquisition.

The €2 million acquisition is part of Kaleon's strategy to enhance the tourist experience around the lake by offering a range of services that integrate transportation with visits to cultural and natural sites. Navigazione Isole Borromee Lago Maggiore's revenue reached €790,000 in 2025, highlighting its strong financial performance.
