Kalo Gold Adopts detectORE™ to Enhance Gold Screening at Vatu Aurum
Kalo Gold Corp. has implemented the detectORE™ gold screening system at its Vatu Aurum Project in Fiji. This geochemical technology, developed by Portable PPB Pty Ltd, offers rapid on-site gold screening, aiding in immediate exploration decisions. An internal 2025 validation study of 824 samples demonstrated a strong linear correlation between detectORE™ Units (dU) and certified Fire Assay gold results.
Although detectORE™ is a semi-quantitative tool and not a replacement for laboratory assays, it provides valuable real-time data. The system updates geological interpretations swiftly, crucial for the dynamic Vatu Aurum gold systems. Kalo Gold manages data integrity via a rigorous Portable Laboratory Information Management System (pLIMS).
Qualified Person Andrew Randell approved the technical information presented. While detectORE™ aids in exploration, certified Fire Assay results remain the standard for official reporting under National Instrument 43-101.
