Kalo Gold Identifies Gold-Bearing Epithermal System in Fiji

Kalo Gold Corp. has unveiled promising results from two initial drill holes at the Wainikoro site within its Vatu Aurum Project in Fiji. These findings reveal the presence of a gold-rich epithermal system over a stretch of 1.8 km. The company targeted these areas due to regional faulting and geophysical anomalies. Both VA26-DH18 and VA26-DH19 holes confirmed anomalous gold linked to quartz veins.

Highlights include intersected gold in low-grade quartz veins and surface samples indicating arsenic and antimony, usual markers of epithermal systems. Significant gold, up to 1.92 g/t, was detected, showcasing the potential for multiple mineralized zones in the region. A detailed geophysical survey is planned for mid-July 2026 to refine drilling targets.

These results fortify Kalo's confidence in the Wainikoro site's potential as part of a multi-phase system, offering valuable insights for future exploration.
