KAP AG Releases 2025 Annual Report and 2026 Forecast
KAP AG has published its audited 2025 annual report, confirming revenues at €241.4 million, a decrease from €252.5 million in 2024. The company's normalised EBITDA stood at €20.9 million, marginally down from €21.9 million the previous year. The flexible films segment performed well, whereas engineered products and surface technologies were affected by weak demand in key sectors.
Marten Julius, Management Board Spokesman, noted the need for continued restructuring. KAP AG refinanced its syndicated loan, crucial for ongoing restructuring. The company expects 2026 revenue between €230.0 million and €250.0 million, with EBITDA ranging from €19.0 million to €23.0 million.
The 2025 financial year revealed challenges in key sectors, with flexible films seeing growth, while engineered products and surface technologies segments struggled. Impairment losses led to a consolidated net loss of €–67.5 million for 2025. No dividends will be distributed, and the equity ratio decreased to 23.9%.
