Kapsch TrafficCom AG Revises Financial Outlook Amid Disappointing First Half

Kapsch TrafficCom AG reported preliminary financial figures for the first half of the financial year 2025/26 that fell significantly short of expectations. Revenue was around EUR 200 million and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) at approximately EUR 10 million. This preliminary EBIT figure includes a positive one-off effect of around EUR 23 million from the first quarter.

The shortfall is attributed to challenging market conditions, particularly delays in large project tenders and unsuccessful bids for anticipated projects. Consequently, the company revised its full-year forecast, now expecting revenues of around EUR 450 million and EBIT of approximately EUR 25 million. These figures represent a notable downgrade from the previously estimated EUR 510 million in revenue and EUR 45 million in EBIT.
