Kapsch TrafficCom's First Quarter 2025/26 Results
Kapsch TrafficCom reported a 28% annual reduction in revenues, reaching EUR 100 million in Q1 2025/26. The decline is attributed to the cessation of two major projects and deferred revenues. Despite the drop, EBIT rose significantly to EUR 22 million, bolstered by income from Germany and effective cost management.
The quarter saw a settlement agreement with the German government over a past toll contract, promising positive liquidity effects in the next quarter. With several projects completed and new ones secured, Kapsch remains optimistic about EBIT growth, despite anticipated revenue declines for the year 2025/26.
The company faced revenue declines across all regions but made progress with new projects in Sweden, Brazil, the US, and others. A sustainability statement was also published, aligning with future European standards.
