Kapsch TrafficCom Reports Decline in 2025/26 Revenues and EBIT

Kapsch TrafficCom has announced that its financial results for the 2025/26 fiscal year fell below initial forecasts. The company's revenue dropped to EUR 431 million from the previous year's EUR 530 million. An EBIT of EUR 8 million was achieved, supported by a one-time settlement with Germany worth EUR 23 million. Despite challenges, the company anticipates an improved financial performance in the next fiscal year.

Revenue decline was largely attributed to the termination of two major projects in South Africa and Belarus, coupled with a general weakness in the global tolling market. Additional delays in project initiation further impacted revenue, although future prospects were bolstered by strong order intakes.

The tolling segment suffered the most, with revenue declining to EUR 295 million and contributing 69% of total income. The traffic management segment maintained relative stability, reporting revenues of EUR 135 million.

Looking ahead, Kapsch TrafficCom expects a challenging market environment but predicts revenue and EBIT growth for the 2026/27 financial year.
