Kardex Revises 2026 EBIT Forecast

Kardex Holding AG announced a revision of its EBIT forecast for 2026. The company, which embarked on a strategic initiative in late 2024, aims for substantial growth, targeting EUR 1.5 billion in revenues by 2029-2031. Despite positive growth in the Standardized Systems segment, the Automated Products segment faced slower momentum since the second half of 2025, affecting bookings and revenues.

The company reports that increased operating costs, aligned with its growth strategy, coupled with lower volumes in Automated Products, have impacted its earnings. For the first half of 2026, the EBIT is expected to be around 60% of the previous year's level. However, Kardex anticipates a stronger performance in the second half of the year.

The firm projects 15-20% growth in orders and revenue for the year, with an EBIT margin between 8-10%. Kardex remains optimistic about achieving its medium-term targets amidst ongoing reshoring and industry automation trends.
