Kathy Walker Appointed as Chair of Ur-Energy Board

Ur-Energy Inc., a key player in U.S. uranium production, has appointed Kathy Walker as Chair of its Board of Directors. This change comes as part of the company's routine leadership review. Walker, bringing over 40 years of experience in energy, mining, and finance, takes over from John Cash. While stepping down as Chair, Cash remains a director and will serve as a strategic and technical adviser to support Ur-Energy’s growth.

Walker expressed her enthusiasm about the role amid promising prospects in the U.S. uranium market. The Board commended Cash for his invaluable leadership, which has guided Ur-Energy through critical operational phases. CEO Matt Gili highlighted that both Walker's experience and Cash’s ongoing involvement will be vital as Ur-Energy advances its Wyoming projects.
