Elisa Vlerick Joins KBC Group Board of Directors
Elisa Vlerick has been appointed to the Board of Directors of KBC Group, succeeding Baron Philippe Vlerick. This change occurred following the General Meeting on 7 May 2026. Elisa Vlerick will serve a four-year term as a non-executive director, representing core shareholders like her predecessor.
Philippe Vlerick, a Board member and shareholder representative since 2005, was acknowledged by Chairman Koenraad Debackere for his dedication and contributions to KBC’s strategic direction. Elisa Vlerick brings legal expertise and investment experience from roles at Allen & Overy, Novartis, SGS, and her partnership at Ninepointfive Ventures.
This appointment highlights KBC Group's effort to maintain a balanced Board composition with diverse expertise, international experience, and strong shareholder ties. Elisa Vlerick also holds directorships at K&H Bank, a KBC subsidiary.
