Michiel Allaerts joins KBC's board of directors

At the general meeting of 30 April 2025, Michiel Allaerts was appointed director of the KBC group for a four-year term. He succeeds Theodoros Roussis, whose term of office expires after this meeting. Former chairman of the board of Ravago, Theo Roussis has served as a non-executive director at KBC since 1997, representing the core shareholders.

Michiel Allaerts, currently CFO and COO of Ravago, will bring his expertise to the board. He began his career at Deloitte as a legal advisor. In 2012, he joined Ravago, where he progressed to leadership roles. His commitment and experience are expected to support KBC's economic transitions.
