Keito Nakamura signs with Olympique Lyonnais

Olympique Lyonnais have officially announced the signing of Japanese international Keito Nakamura on a four-year contract. The transfer from Stade de Reims is worth €1 million, with potential add-ons reaching €19 million and a maximum sell-on clause of 12.5%.

Keito Nakamura, born on July 28, 2000 in Abiko, began his career at Gamba Osaka. He then played in Europe for Twente, Sint-Truiden, and FC Juniors OÖ, before signing with LASK in 2021. In 2023, he joined Stade de Reims, where he established himself by scoring 30 goals in 97 matches.

At 26, Nakamura has 270 appearances for club and country, and has scored 11 goals in 29 international appearances. A versatile winger, he impressed at the 2026 World Cup. He becomes OL's first Japanese player.
