Kerlink Unveils Wirnet™ iEdge Series for Enhanced Smart Buildings
Paris, Oct. 14, 2026 - Kerlink, a leader in LoRaWAN® networking, has launched the Wirnet™ iEdge series. This new indoor LoRaWAN® edge gateway aims to revolutionize smart building management. The series is built to process and integrate sensor data with building management systems and IoT platforms. Featuring real-time data processing and local decision-making, it doesn't rely on cloud-based solutions.
The iEdge series includes devices with optional 4G/5G support and features an industrial-grade Cortex-A35 CPU. This allows hosting of tailored on-site applications. Yann Bauduin of Kerlink emphasized the customization capabilities for specific building and industrial needs. The product supports protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and MQTT, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
The series targets key market needs driven by European energy-efficiency regulations by 2030. It facilitates automation without additional wiring, covering applications in smart building systems, energy monitoring, HVAC control, air quality management, and more. Available initially in EMEA, expansion is planned for other markets.
