KISTERS Launches Innovative HyQuant Edge for Hydrology Monitoring

KISTERS has unveiled the HyQuant Edge, an advanced monitoring station designed for quantitative hydrology. This compact unit integrates radar measurement, data logging, edge processing, transmission, and cloud connectivity. It represents a shift from traditional multi-component setups by offering a singular solution, reducing power usage and facilitating rapid deployment.

The device addresses challenges in hydrological monitoring by enabling simpler deployment at remote sites. It offers self-contained systems, combining measurement and communication capabilities, which reduces infrastructure and costs. HyQuant Edge is beneficial for various deployment scenarios, including remote and emergency contexts.

Available in four versions, the stations are upgradeable and secure, with capabilities that include LTE-Cat-M1/NB-IoT support.
