Klondike Gold Launches 2026 Drilling to Expand Gold Resources
Klondike Gold Corp., a Canadian exploration company, has initiated its 2026 diamond drilling program at the Klondike District Project in Yukon, Canada. The program aims to update and expand its gold mineral resources based on the 2022 mineral resource estimate. It includes plans for approximately 8,000 meters of drilling primarily in the Lone Star and Stander Zones, with completion expected by July 2026. A further 5,000 meters of drilling is planned for later in the year.
The initiative seeks to expand known mineralized zones and test extensions of near-surface gold mineralization. The program will also collect data to support future engineering and economic evaluations. Klondike Gold emphasizes that this program builds on previous campaigns that revealed significant gold mineralization. Ongoing assay results will be released throughout 2026.
