Knaus Tabbert Releases Mid-2026 Financial Report
Knaus Tabbert AG has reported an improvement in earnings for the first half of 2026 despite challenging market conditions. The company implemented cost adjustments and enhanced operational performance, which contributed positively to profitability. However, market demand remained weak, with cautious retailer orders. Revenue fell to EUR 503.9 million, down 11.9% from EUR 571.7 million the previous year, with unit sales decreasing by 8.0%.
While motorhome and caravan sales declined, camper van sales rose by 7.1%. Total operating performance increased by 2.5% to EUR 519.4 million, driven by inventory changes. Adjusted EBITDA grew to EUR 36.0 million from EUR 22.7 million, with the margin improving to 7.1%. Additionally, net profit reached EUR 11.5 million, reversing a EUR 4.8 million loss from the prior year.
The order backlog increased to EUR 340 million but dropped from the end of 2025. Knaus Tabbert expects sustained challenges in the market, forecasting revenue around EUR 950 million for the full year with an EBITDA margin of 5.0% to 6.0%.
