Komax Group Secures Productronica Innovation Award
The Komax Group has been recognized with the prestigious productronica Innovation Award 2025 in the Cables, Coils & Hybrids category, celebrating their new Adaptive Incision Control (AIC) quality monitoring system. This innovation upholds high quality, enhances process reliability, and minimizes waste in automated wire processing.
The AIC system serves in both fully and semi-automatic machines, ensuring precise incision control by adjusting wire cuts to maintain consistency. This results in decreased scrap, shorter setup times, and reduced operator dependency.
CEO Matijas Meyer emphasized the value AIC brings, enhancing productivity while confirming Komax's role as an innovator since its inception 50 years ago.
This achievement was part of the sixth annual productronica Innovation Awards, held in Munich, where 79 entries competed.
