KSB Reports Robust Performance in Second Quarter of 2026
Amid ongoing geopolitical challenges, KSB SE & Co. KGaA, a pump and valve manufacturer, has reported a strong second quarter in 2026. The company's sales revenue and EBIT showed significant improvements compared to the first quarter. A key factor in this positive outcome was the performance of the KSB SupremeServ segment, which focuses on spare parts and services.
Order intake for the first half of 2026 increased to €1,849 million, up from €1,698 million in 2025. Despite negative currency impacts, the KSB SupremeServ segment saw the highest growth, with an order intake rise of 9.6% to €272 million. The Pumps Segment showed a modest growth of 1.0%, while the Valves Segment experienced a decline.
Sales revenue in the first half reached €1,471 million, slightly surpassing 2025's €1,465 million. The Pumps Segment achieved the strongest revenue growth in the second quarter.
Despite external costs impacting EBIT, particularly in the Pumps Segment, the overall EBIT margin was 7.7%. KSB remains confident in achieving its annual forecast, supported by proactive cost measures.
