OSN Launches Direct-to-TV Service with Samsung and NAGRAVISION in MENA
OSN has unveiled its innovative direct-to-TV service in the Middle East and North Africa, harnessing TVkey Cloud by NAGRAVISION and Samsung. This launch allows OSN to deliver pay-TV services directly to Samsung connected TVs, eliminating the need for a set-top box. Sofia Digital crafted the smart TV user interface in line with the HbbTV operator application standard.
OSN's VP of Commercial Sales, Imad El Khoury, emphasizes the aim to provide easy access to content on connected TVs. Morten Solbakken, COO of NAGRAVISION, highlights this move as a step to extend service reach and secure content distribution. Mustafa Sadick from Samsung MENA underlines the enhanced consumer experience through this collaboration.
Compatible with Samsung Ultra HD models from 2021, TVkey Cloud offers a secure, user-friendly experience meeting 4K Ultra HD standards.
