Kuntarahoitus Oyj Launches SEK 500 Million Green Notes
On October 8, 2026, Municipality Finance Plc (MuniFin) will issue SEK 500 million in green notes under its Medium Term Note (MTN) programme. The issuance, featuring a fixed annual interest rate of 3.734%, will mature on October 8, 2036. This initiative is part of MuniFin's extensive EUR 55 billion programme for debt instruments.
The green notes will be accessible to public trading on Nasdaq Helsinki, beginning the same day. Danske Bank A/S serves as the dealer for this issuance. MuniFin is recognized as one of Finland’s largest credit institutions, backed by Finnish municipalities, Keva, and the State of Finland.
MuniFin focuses on funding initiatives that are environmentally and socially responsible, such as public transportation and sustainable buildings. The company proudly holds the title of being Finland's inaugural green and social bond issuer.
