Holcim Reports Robust First Half, Upgrades 2026 Guidance
Holcim, the leading construction materials company, announced a strong first half for 2026. The company reported an 11.5% growth in recurring EBIT, reaching CHF 1,438 million. Organic net sales climbed 5.2% to CHF 7,925 million, pushing Holcim to upgrade its full-year guidance to approximately 10% organic growth in recurring EBIT and 5% in net sales.
CEO Miljan Gutovic attributed these results to strategic acquisitions and the successful execution of the NextGen Growth 2030 strategy. High-value acquisitions, such as Xella and Cementos Pacasmayo, expanded Holcim’s footprint in Europe and Latin America, boosting its Building Solutions segment.
Despite positive sales and EBIT growth, free cash flow decreased significantly from CHF 156 million to CHF 36 million. Holcim also highlighted its commitment to sustainability, noting a 36% increase in recycled materials use through ECOCycle technology.
