Lagardère Group Shows Strong First-Quarter 2026 Growth
On April 16, 2026, Lagardère announced a 3.8% like-for-like increase in first-quarter revenue, totaling €2,037 million. Arnaud Lagardère, CEO, attributed this growth to the group's varied business and international presence despite geopolitical tensions.
Lagardère Publishing's revenue rose by 1.4% like-for-like. Growth was fueled by successful publications and diversification into Board Games and Partworks, despite a currency hit of €24 million.
Lagardère Travel Retail reported a 4.8% like-for-like rise, driven by robust performances in Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region. The Middle East conflict, starting in February, affected air travel and consumer spending.
Lagardère Live's revenue climbed by 5.9% like-for-like, buoyed by rising audience numbers at Europe 1 and Europe 2 and steady gains in its entertainment segment.
