Lahontan Gold Corp Receives Approval for Santa Fe Exploration
Lahontan Gold Corp announced that the Federal Bureau of Land Management has approved its Exploration Plan of Operations for the Santa Fe Mine project. This decision allows the company to begin expanded exploration within a 12.2 km² area, aiming to test new targets beyond the existing gold and silver resources.
The approval includes over 700 permitted drill holes, targeting geological and geochemical anomalies. Key exploration areas include the Pinnacles and Guzzler targets. The approval marks a significant milestone for the company, enabling them to assess the broader potential of the Santa Fe Mine project.
Lahontan's expansion at Santa Fe, home to significant historic gold and silver production, positions the company to unlock the full potential of its Nevada land holdings. The executive team expressed gratitude for the swift processing by the BLM.
