Launch of SolarFrost, the Autonomous Solar Cold Room by Airwell

Airwell has announced the success of the FASEP project in Iraq with the commissioning of the SolarFrost Autonomous Solar Cold Storage Unit (CFSA). This project, supported by the French Treasury and various organizations, aims to reduce post-harvest losses by providing a solar-powered storage solution.

The innovative "Pay as You Store" business model facilitates access to refrigeration for farmers and livestock breeders. SolarFrost has demonstrated its ability to maintain a stable temperature of 4°C, thus preserving more than 5 tons of food. The project has generated significant interest for future deployment in the region.

Airwell plans to expand its international offering, with orders already received for the Caribbean. This initiative reinforces Airwell's position as a key player in the energy transition in the Middle East.
