LDC Expands UK Presence with Green Label Partnership

LDC, a French agri-food company, announced a strategic partnership with the Buchanan family in the UK through the purchase of a majority stake in Green Label Holdings Ltd. Green Label, known for its Gressingham brand, has been a reputable producer and supplier of duck and poultry products in the UK.

The company, employing around 700 people, operates extensive farming facilities in East Anglia, fulfilling about 50% of its supply needs through its integrated agricultural value chain. This acquisition aligns with LDC's international strategy, enhancing its UK presence alongside its Welsh subsidiary and European imports.

The completion of the transaction marks a new chapter for LDC's UK operations. Both companies expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting aligned values and growth opportunities.
