Leclanché Resumes M3 Module Production Post-Incident
Leclanché SA, a leading energy storage company, has restarted the production of its M3 module line in Yverdon-les-Bains after an incident on November 26, 2025. Following weeks of testing and validation, successful module production in test mode occurred before Christmas. As of January 5, 2026, standard production resumed under modified conditions until damaged equipment is completely replaced. Offline quality testing complements the repair of the inline testing station. Full product compliance and assembly process capacity remain intact.
Production will continue throughout the equipment replacement phase, with an increase in output expected. Despite the incident, client supply disruptions have been minimal, and production continuity in German facilities is assured. CEO Pierre Blanc commends the engineering and production teams for their decisive actions ensuring a swift line restart.
