Leggett Dynamics Unveils Mid-Class Massage System for Mass Market Vehicles
Leggett Dynamics has introduced its new Mid-Class Massage System (MCM) in Detroit, marking a significant step in making premium massage features available in non-luxury vehicles. The MCM, noted for its non-electronic design, uses the Coandă effect to deliver a distinctive massage experience. This approach reduces complexity and costs, broadening accessibility.
The system is already in production with a global OEM and has been shortlisted for the 2026 Auto Tech Partnership Award. The recognition highlights Leggett Dynamics' innovative approach and successful OEM collaborations. The MCM's standalone design allows quick integration without extensive electronic updates, appealing to automakers aiming to enhance vehicle comfort efficiently.
Julien Rea, VP of Global Innovation & Engineering, emphasized the balance of innovation, speed, and cost in meeting consumer demand for personalized comfort. With MCM, Leggett Dynamics offers a user-friendly, cost-effective solution suited for high-volume production, enhancing competitiveness in a crowded market.
Leggett Dynamics will display the MCM and other innovations at the Automotive Interiors Expo Europe in Stuttgart from June 23-25.
