Markus Schifferle Appointed New CFO of LLB Group
On November 24, 2025, the Liechtensteinische Landesbank (LLB) Board of Directors appointed Markus Schifferle as the new Group Chief Financial Officer. Schifferle steps into the role following Christoph Reich's appointment as Group CEO in September 2025.
Markus Schifferle brings over 25 years of banking experience, having been part of the LLB Group since 2011. As Head of Group Finance & Risk, he showcased operational and strategic strengths in finance and risk management.
Georg Wohlwend, Chairman of LLB's Board, praised Schifferle's modern and strategic approach. Schifferle expressed gratitude for the Board's trust and emphasized the importance of clear financial priorities and risk management.
His appointment awaits approval from the FMA Liechtenstein, completing the Group Executive Board, which includes CEO Christoph Reich and other key leaders.
