LION E-Mobility AG: Q2 Results and Future Prospects
On August 14, 2026, LION E-Mobility AG released its Q2 results, indicating a transitional quarter impacted by plant adjustments for new NMC+ battery packs. Despite weaker sales, the company exceeded expectations with €3.6 million in revenue, slightly higher than the anticipated €3.2 million. EBITDA remained flat year-over-year at €-0.1 million, due to reduced personnel costs and increased procurement expenses.
A significant production ramp-up is planned, with a semi-automated line in Q3 and fully automated line in Q4 2026, aiming for a capacity of approximately 2,000 packs by year-end and 10,000-11,000 packs in FY27. Additionally, LION secured a second BESS project in Northern Bavaria, valued at €600,000, with further projects in the pipeline.
LION's management expects stronger operations post-Q2, supporting its FY26 sales guidance of over €35 million and a positive EBITDA. The company maintains a "BUY" recommendation with a revised target price of €2.8, emphasizing growth potential amid elevated working capital requirements.
