Esports: a career with potential, according to a Logitech study

A global survey commissioned by Logitech G reveals that 65% of the population supports the implementation of educational pathways in esports and competitive gaming. Younger generations, particularly Generation Z, increasingly view professional gaming as a legitimate career. However, generational disparities persist, with only 37% of baby boomers sharing this view.

Esports professionals face challenges such as financial risk and a lack of support. Yet, 47% of respondents would like to see schools integrate esports courses. Derek Perez of Logitech emphasizes the need to support and structure these emerging careers.
